Dapazin 10 Mg Tablets

“Dapazin™ contains the active substance dapagliflozin 10 MG .
It belongs to a group of medicines called “sodium glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitors”.
They work by blocking the SGLT2 protein in your kidney. By blocking this protein, blood sugar (glucose), salt (sodium) and water are removed from patient’s body via the urine.”

Indications (as per the registered label)

“Dapazin™ is prescribed for adult patients (18+ years) to treat:
Type 2 Diabetes
When diet and exercise alone are not enough.
Can be used alone or with other diabetes medications.
Patients should continue following medical advice on diet and exercise.
Heart Failure
For patients with symptoms caused by weakened heart pump function.
Chronic Kidney Disease
For patients with reduced kidney function.”
